Polyscias require relatively high-intensity light, but a whole day of full sun would be too much. Bright, indirect sunlight or its artificial equivalent would be ideal.

As soon as the soil becomes dry on one centimeter, water so as to moisten all of it. During the growth period (spring, summer), watering should be regular - once or twice a week - but measured in order not to asphyxiate the roots of plants.

A minimum daytime temperature of 16 degrees Celsius is recommended and a minimum nighttime temperature of 12 degrees Celsius. Spray the Polyscias regularly to increase the humidity.

Fertilize three times a year (spring, mid-summer and early fall) with a dilute mixture of water-soluble fertilizer, or once in spring with a slow-release fertilizer.
