Croton or codiaum(كروتون أو الكوديوم) plant, native to Sunda Islands in Tropical Asia, and its leaves vary in shape, color, and size. Its height may reach a meter, so it is preferable to display them individually. The plant secretes white colloidal liquid that is considered poisonous and should be taken care of especially for children. Propagated by using stem cuttings in the spring. Can be propagated also by aerial laying so that it scrapes longitudinally the part of the stem to be buried in the soil, then left to the next winter, and separated from the parent plant.
