Small Cactus includes a wide range of species that differ in shapes and sizes It can be distinguished from other plants by the presence of areoles, small cushionlike structures with trichomes (plant hairs). Almost all of them are leafless, and the stems include protuberances bearing these various appendages. The plant propagated by cuttings, seeds, and offspring as separated in the spring.
