Consistent watering throughout the spring, summer and fall is essential. Once the ground is frozen in the winter, watering can be suspended until spring warms the soil. Early morning watering, to a depth of 6 to 8 inches, is recommended.

Temperature between 10-27°C, but most constantly 16°C night temperature.

A balanced all-purpose fertilizer. Feed them especially during the vegetative growth period to prevent premature flowering. At each watering use a 20-10-20 or equivalent solution. When the blooming season begins, switch to a 10-20-20 fertilizer or equivalent.
