Thevetia or yellow oleander is scientifically called Thevetia peruviana. Its flowers may be yellow, orange, pink, or white, depending on its type, and appear at the end of spring and early summer, and are attractive to bedding. An evergreen shrub, reaching a height of approximately 3 meters, and may exceed that to reach approximately 6 meters. Accept pruning, and it is noticed when pruning that a milky liquid sap comes out that may cause allergies to the skin, so it is preferable to wear gloves when pruning. It also accepts cultivation in pots. It is a fast growing shrub. Thefitia is considered a poisonous plant in general and has several medicinal uses.
