Alstonia scholaris is a very dense evergreen tree that is also very flowery. It is called the tree of a million flowers due to the dense appearance of the flowers. It is very suitable for use as an ornamental tree in paths or gardens in general.
It has rough grey bark and large leaves that grow in clusters. The flowers are small and greenish-yellow in colour. The fruits are thin pods that can reach 50 cm in length.
In addition to its use in exterior decoration of homes, villas, or public roadways, this tree is characterized by a fragrant, permanent scent that attracts all creatures, from humans to birds and bees.
