The tiger skin plant, Sansevieria trifasciata, is native to tropical West Africa, and has several species that vary in size and coloration of their leaves. For its beautiful foliage, leopard skin is grown in rock gardens with other cacti or alone. It can be grown in pots as indoor plants. In the right conditions, it can produce fragrant flowers, and it is fast-growing and multiplies by its small growths protruding from the base of the stem when it contacts the ground. The successor can be removed and planted directly if it contains roots, and if it does not contain roots, the succession can be dried for two or three days in a shaded place and then planted in order to avoid the rotting of the tail.
