Scientific Name: Spathiphyllum wallisii
The Peace Lily is an air-purifying, evergreen, and perennial plant. Its stems grow directly from the soil, and its dark green,
large leaves measure approximately 20 cm in length and 7 cm in width, featuring a prominent central vein with delicate, feather-like secondary veins.
Flowers and Naming:
The plant produces small white flowers on slender stems, each embraced by a pure white spathe, which is the origin of its Arabic name.
Propagation and Care:
The Peace Lily grows offsets or pups from the base of the parent plant.
These can be separated and planted in soil if they have an established root system.
If roots are absent, the offsets can be placed in a water container covering the lower part until roots form, then planted in permanent soil.
Price does not include the pot.
