The pomelo plant (golden) or the song of India, is a plant belonging to a species of tropical tree native to the regions of Madagascar, Mauritius and some parts of the Indian Ocean. It is prized for its rich color, thick, irregular stems, and evergreen leaves. It is mostly grown as houseplant and ornamental plant. It is a slow growing plant and can be grown easily at home. They generally tend to be oval in shape with a widely open crown. The flowers grown on this plant are small and clustered, white and have a high aroma and generally appear in the middle of winter. It generally comes in green and gold colors. It is unique in that it has long, spiral leaves with small inches.
