Plumeria is widespread in the tropics and is known by several names, including: Al-Fetnah - Yasemeen Hindi - Shagarat Al-Maabad - shagarat al-hayah. These trees are half falling leaves, reach seven meters in height, bloom during the summer or autumn, the flowers appears from inside the leaves. They have several colors including white, cream and reddish pink and have a beautiful aromatic smell. Also, they have economic importance where some medical compounds, perfumes and food are made for some people. They are propagated by the terminal cuttings.
