American Ficus is a perennial evergreen tree that is widely cultivated in the Kingdom as it is tolerant of heat and drought. It is also called Ficus tsima. It grows to a height of about 25-30 meters and a trunk with a diameter of up to 1 meter. It is a huge tree that is often used as a shade tree in gardens and car parks, and it is also used for decoration in streets and pedestrian paths. One of the characteristics of this plant is the softness of its beautiful green color, which makes it difficult to collect dust on its shiny leaves. It is considered one of the trees with aerial roots that grow on other trees and when it grows it overwhelms and swallows the tree on which it grew. But in dry areas such as the Kingdom, these roots do not find enough moisture for growth. Ficus tsima multiply by seed and cuttings in the spring and by air, and roots will appear within 6-8 weeks
