Leaves: Bright green, slender, and long ribbon-like leaves. They are highly flexible, causing the tips to arch and drape downward gracefully 

Stems: Features erect, unbranched stems that are characteristically triangular in cross-section (a distinct trait of the sedge family).

Root System & Tubers: It develops a robust underground system of rhizomes and small, rounded tubers (nut-like), which is where the common name "Nut Grass" originates. These tubers store nutrients and allow the plant to propagate.

Growth Habit: Extremely resilient and fast-spreading, thriving particularly well in sunny, moist environments.
