The fragrant plant (Pelargonium) is an aromatic shrub belonging to the geranium family. It is called in some Arab areas as (Khubaizah) because of the similarity of its leaves with the leaves of the well-known hibiscus plant. It is also called in other areas as (fragrant) due to the aromatic smells emitted from its leaves. The plant is about 250 species, including the succulent, creeping, annual and evergreen, and it is a fast-growing plant and reaches a height of about 60 cm. It is propagated by cuttings from the stem in the spring, and it can also be propagated by seeds, and tracing can also be used for its reproduction
